K. MICAH MAUPIN
It all started when…
I rehabbed a house for a real estate agent…
K. Micah Maupin is a Cincinnati native with a great eye for the city and an even bigger heart.
Following High School, Micah spent some time in the military before moving back to his hometown. Micah picked up and soon excelled at fixing homes up to give them new life. During one fateful transaction, the agent he was working with suggested to Micah that he obtain his OWN real estate license. Then he’d really be a powerhouse!
Fast forward to now, Micah has over 8 years of experience helping buyers, sellers, and investors navigate the world of real estate. When he isn't doing real estate, Micah spends most of his time with his daughter and his wife, Talyta. He also devotes his free time to working for Turpin High School as an assistant wrestling coach and is a board member of the Yellow Ribbon Support Center, an organization that sends packages to members of the military overseas, educates the local community, and remembers the ones that didn’t get off the plane.

When my military career came to a close I was about 6 months away from completing my bachelor’s degree from Liberty University. (Yes, the Jerry Falwell one.) Once I completed my degree, my focus was real estate. I started out in 2013 as an investor. I decided I wanted to become a real estate agent because no one will work as hard as me on my own cause. Since then, I have made hundreds of connections and bought and, since becoming an agent in 2014, I have sold even more homes.

I have worked with landlords, tenants, contractors, real estate agents, buyers, and sellers. In July 2014 I decided I wanted to become a real estate agent when I realized no one will work as hard as I will. I know clients see this in me and would (and do) tell their friends.

During my first few months, I began to realize that being a real estate agent isn't really about getting people to the closing table quickly (which I do). It's about building relationships and connecting with people on their level. It is about having a servant’s heart and doing everything I possibly can to ensure my clients are well versed in the knowledge they need to know and have them make educated decisions. As I continue my real estate journey, I won’t forget the foundations that placed me in the position I hold today.
